I found this photo in a post on Facebook which was taken from this site. And I got to thinking of all the dads I know that do wear their babies. What is it that makes a nurturing man so sexy to women? Evolution, instincts? Are we constantly subconsciously seeking a mate who will be a good dad? I think, yes.

Infant massage can have many benefits for baby:
- Relaxes baby
- Relieves discomfort from constipation, gas, and colic
- Normalizes muscle tone and improves blood circulation
- Helps baby sleep better
- Stimulates brain development and improves sensory awareness
Parents, Dads included, can also enjoy many benefits from massaging their babies. As you massage your baby, the physical skin-to-skin contact helps to release hormones that promote relaxation. A more relaxed Dad and a more relaxed baby leads to a closer bond and more positive attitude about your role as a prent. And this close contact helps you learn to read your baby’s cues and respond more effectively to her needs, resulting in a happier baby and a more confident parent. In short, massaging your baby helps promote bonding and provides a special time that fosters mutual love, compassion, and respect between you and your baby.
And, it’s easy to learn and requires no special tools. Any Dad can learn infant massage. So, if you are a new father, make time to massage your new baby as it’s an excellent way to bond with your baby.
Moms and Dads welcome this Sat at 11am August 15th at the Annex
Cost $30

if you are currently in a yoga class at the annex the price is $20
